If your Charles is making a loud noise, then he may be too full of water. With all wet machines, they will make a different sound once the float valve has risen. This is to prevent the machine from overfilling.
When in wet mode, check to see if the float valve has activated, as this blocks the airflow and prevents Charles from overfilling. Check for any blockages in the hoses and hose inlet. In dry mode we recommend checking thoroughly for blockages. Click here to find out how.

The Stainless-Steel Tubes on Charles and friends are held together by friction, which means sometimes they can get stuck together especially if dust or dirt is trapped between the joining sections. To remove the tubes;
